MC came to see me in 2017 complaining of chronic shoulder pain that had increased after a fall 1 year prior. Diffuse, dull and aching pain worse with use. A steroid injection 4 months prior to seeing me gave minimal relief. Shoulder xrays below showed moderate arthritis with joint space loss and bone spurs. MRI imaging showed partial tearing of 3 rotator cuff tendons and the labrum.

After discussing treatment options, she decided to proceed with regenerative stem cell treatment using cells from her own fat tissue. 4 months after treatment, her pain symptoms had resolved. I have not seen her since then.

She came in yesterday, over 7 years since treatment. She has been completely pain free until she overused the shoulder a month ago. Incredibly, her xrays now show improved joint space indicating increased cartilage thickness. Her arthritis has not progressed and actually looks improved 7 years after stem cell!

Come see what regenerative orthopedics can do for you!!
