Regenerative Orthopedic Case of the Week – March 28, 2023

March, 2021: A 58 year old female with longstanding right knee pain presented for evaluation. Xrays show severe arthritis with almost complete loss of cartilage joint space. She opted for treatment with her own stem cells harvested from her fat tissue. Four months after treatment, her pain was over 80% improved. Three months ago, she was able to vacation internationally and walk 5 miles daily without issues. Today, 2 years out from treatment, she is still nearly pain free. Her xrays show significant INCREASED CARTILAGE JOINT SPACE in the right knee!
