Regenerative Orthopedic case of the week:

Wanda is an 81 year old with chronic progressive bilateral shoulder pain. Her shoulders pop with motion. Sharp, stabbing pain with reaching, lifting and at night. Steroid injections have not provided any relief. Her xrays showed and physical exam was consistent with severe, bilateral, bone on bone shoulder arthritis. She was looking for an alternative to replacement surgery. After discussing treatment options, she decided to have stem cell treatment using cells from her own fat tissue. (your fat has far greater concentration of stem cells than bone marrow) Three months after treatment, her pain is significantly improved. Finally, she can sleep without pain when turning side to side. And, she has far less pain with getting dressed and lifting activities.
