Regenerative Orthopedic case of the week – September 12, 2022

67 year old female with 10+ years of right knee pain. She had to give up jogging and had difficulty with prolonged standing and walking, negotiating stairs. She tried steroid and gel injections with little relief. Her xray showed moderate arthritis with some joint space loss. However, her MRI showed significant bone marrow lesions, arthritic changes inside the bone.
To treat this, she decided to have regenerative therapy with stem cells from her fat tissue injected into the knee joint and PRP (concentrated platelets from her blood) injected into the bright bone lesions. Yes, she was asleep for that part!
Today, 3 months after procedure, she has significantly increased her activities and her pain has dropped from 6 out of 10 down to ZERO!
Come see what regenerative orthopedics can do for you!
